Easter and Resurrection Day

April 5,2026

Hello dear Friends,

Happy Easter/ Resurrection Day.

While I love Spring and the busyness of preparing for gardening season, my heart is also focused on something much more important. Beyond the bunnies and the spring decor lies the heartbeat of my faith: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Sacrifice (Good Friday)

We cannot truly appreciate the light of the Resurrection without acknowledging the darkness of the Cross. As a Christian, Easter represents the moment where the ultimate price was paid. Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, took on our sins and faced death so that we wouldn't have to be separated from God. It was a moment of profound sacrifice.

The Victory (Easter Sunday)

But the story didn't end in the tomb! The true meaning of Easter is the Resurrection. When Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, He defeated death once and for all. This is our Living Hope.

"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:6

What This Means for Us

Because the tomb is empty, we have the promise of new life. Just as we wait for the first sprouts to break through the Idaho soil, the Resurrection reminds us that no matter how "dead" a situation may feel, God is in the business of making all things new. It’s not just a historical event; it’s a daily reality of grace and redemption.

This season at Sunflower Acres, I’m not just celebrating a change in weather; I’m celebrating the King who conquered the grave. My prayer for you all is that you feel the peace and joy that only comes from knowing the Risen Savior.

Have a Blessed week

Love Ann ❤️
